It’s been a long time with no updates from my side, way way to long already
So what happend? I always thought that “you can’t stop the signal”, but i was somewhat wronged.
I’ve been visiting a friend since around Friday where i planned to do a post, but got called to work, and suddenly, time was gone. So I left in a hurry and didn’t get time to post what i intended(which I’ve also forgot what was in the meantime). But why didn’t I just post it Saturday then you ask?
Well you see my friend does not live in a city… He lives out in the country pretty much, and for some apparent reason my phone company and my iPhone cannot get any good signal out there. “But Martin, you could just connect to his wireless internet for connection”… Yeah see thats where it gets interesting. His internet is not on at all times, its not a modem (at least I think not), but its switched off and on when needed. He is very against the use of Facebook, Homebanking, Paypal, and such things… Which is actually fair enough, it leaves me a little puzzled (Especially when I have to order stuff from outside of Denmark for him), but I let him be his kinda weird, because I have my weird little ideas too. So that means I had connection from time to time, but not often nor on regular basis.
But I was not there to be blogging either or something that has to do with the internet. Him and I are currently building Mandalorian Armor; in case you don’t know, its a Star Wars costume, think Boba Fett/Jango Fett; and actually we have been at this since sometime late summer last year. However over the last 6 months we have not really been making any progress except ordering our helmets and a few things. So we had 4 days to do some work in, and we actually did get pretty far, I haven’t transferred the pictures from my iPhone to the computer yet, so bear with me ’till i get that fixed up.
We did get the first few pieces painted (about a quarter of my costume actually), and we finished did do a start on a flightsuit. Big YAY for getting that much further, hopefully both costumes will be ready by the end of May for a convention we are going to attend. Despite my friends optimism I however lack the faith it will be ready by then, but hell you can always hope.
Apart from that not much have happened the last few days, a bit of work, me putting together some warhammer figures for the first time in about a year, playing some DS, watching Firefly again.
Not really much.
